I've done a bunch of flames from these parameters. This looked kind of like the hull of a space ship under construction. Maybe the Enterprise? You know, James T (I need my pain, I want my pain) Kirk!

Daily Deviation

Given 2010-08-31

Normally, I prefer my fractal art to fill the screen. But I was struck by Under Construction by *HalTenny, a deviation from the norm with composition that really pleases. As the artist himself says, it looks like the construction of a structure in space; the negative space and the obvious fractal detail going on into infinity in increasingly smaller increments really bring his idea to the fore.
