Can you briefly explain how to use textures with MB3D? Is that the same as a lightmap? Thanks Hal! Every one of your images is stunning and you were a major inspiration to me in learning to use this program!
I've never actually used light maps, so I'm not sure how similar they are. The way I use the 'texture' maps is in the object tab in the lighting window, I select "Use a map for the diffuse color". Select the map you want to use. And then I almost always select the wrap2 mode, and scale the map to look the best. You can also move the map left, right, and up and down with the offset X and Y.
I think wrap2 works best for geometric shapes, and the others are more suitable for organic shapes... Hope that helps. And thanks much for the kind words. Inspiring someone is one of the best compliments I could receive!
