We have Tuber Land and Spudville, so now here's Pipe World. This world is huge like all the others. I thought you may want to explore it so the parameters are below. Prepare to get lost. You can find something different everywhere you look without even changing formula values. But what fun is that? After you look around some with the move tool, (or however you like to navigate) try changing some values. For instance, under the formula Fo.3 tab, change the ZMultiplier value to -3 for fatter pipes, or -15 for skinny pipes. Click the cutting tab in the main window and change that falue by small amounts, say from -3.29 to -3.295! Most of all just play and have fun!
Many thanks for all the tutorials. They are a great help. Can you edit the parameters directly in Mandelbulb or in a text editor? I have not been able to figure out where to do that or do you need delphi to do it?
You're welcome! If you can edit the parameters any way other than changing the variables in the formulas window, I'm not aware of it. Sorry! So essentially, if you load parameters into MB3D, and change the variables in the formula window, then that is editing the parameters. However, some formulas don't have any variables to change. So if you're looking at editing the actual formula, then yes, you need to decompile it somehow. I'm not into the tech stuff so you would have to ask about that at the fractal forums mandelbulb ([link]) section.
