Most of you probably know Ents are from J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle earth and featured in "The Lord Of The Rings" movies. The metal structures reminded me of the Ents because of the long legs and big feet... :)

I love your work. It's awesome. I'm new to Mdb 3D. Mind if I ask you a couple questions?

I don't mind answering questions at all. I'm more than glad to help as long as you take a quick look at a few tutorials first. I wrote them to help new users get acquainted with the basic functions of mb3d and they should help head off many basic questions. Here's links:

Already got them. I've gone through the 1st and 2nd ones already and am working on the 3rd... They are AWESOME! Really helped me out. My questions are more of technical difficulties. My main problem is distance clipping. I'm not getting nearly the depth of view that you've shown in your screen shots. One in particular you showed a depth of 5 spheres. I only had 3 and a half and the half was cut rough. Any thoughts?

Good! OK then, if you send me those parameters so I could look at them I could much more easily answer your question. I'm not sure if the depth problem is because the shadows are to dark (ambient shadows slider in the lighting panel under the ambient tab in the lighting window), or if the fov (under the camera tab in main window) is to low, or if the iteration count for abox (in the formula window near the bottom) is to low. Sometimes, depending on your set up, you can't avoid cutting through a sphere. There are some more tips on navigating in the 3d navi window in a journal I wrote you might want to look at too. [link] It's a little more advanced but it will help get around 'cutting' problems somewhat. If you want to send me parameters, click the save tab in the main window, and then the txt icon. That copies the parameters onto clipboard, then you can paste them in a note and send to me.
