I just tried, the beast seems difficult to handle :( Would you have any tip? Some param ranges? (I don't want to look at the params I could find on the internet, I would be too much influenced :D:D)

I just looked through some of my surf parameters to check. There's only a few things I noticed. Most the time I do have Sphere or cylinder set to 0. Most the time I do have julia on with settings in the -0.6 to +0.6 range. You can make nice ones with ASurf alone, I know Brent has done several and I did one. (Obviously with no julia, you need to use the ASurf rotate settings a lot, I always do regardless) Most of the time I also use at least one _rotate and sometimes 2. I think I first used ASurf with _RotatedFolding. The problem I seem to have the most is too much detail. I keep zooming hoping something will resolve into a bigger structure and it never does, even after playing with max its and DE. From what I've seen, ~0Encrypted0 seems to have the best grasp with ASurf... Also used ASurf as a rotbox set up with some success. Not sure this will help much. Be glad to send you a sample if you like...
