Nice render time. What kind of machine do you have?

It's an AMD 965 Black Box edition (4 core 3.4Ghz) 4 gigs memory then, 12 gigs now. Rendering time greatly depends on many things though, such as what formulas are used, how many formulas, the Ray step multiplier and Step count settings where lower settings = longer render times. Also the higher the resolution, the longer the render time obviously. A piece rendered at 2000 X 2000 Is actually 4 times the pixels as a piece that is 1000 X 1000, and not just twice the size as you might think. The iteration count can also affect the render time.

Nice. I have a Intel i5-2500k 3.3ghz with 8gb of ram. I am hoping to make a bit of coin from some posters/tshirts/ties sales with my fractals on them. I want to get enough to build a server with tons of ram and multiple quadcores so that i can start doing videos for band/shows.

Nice! I use 'Band in a Box' but I will never learn how to make music.
